  1. I really like your plan, Sarah! You seem to have thought through this very well. I might try for a more specific timeline, but that's my only suggestion! :-)

  2. Sarah,
I've been reading a lot of others ARP and one thing several did was put in activities near the end to note that they will share the learned info. I'm mot sure if it's required but others have. Just a suggestion :)

  3. What is your wondering? Who is your test case other than the after school program kids? (Who are you comparing it to?) What is the end goal? What can be done with this data? I like your idea, and I think that the more parent involvement you can get the better. Also, if you'll go into the settings of your blog you can increase the width of your blog area and incorporate your entire spreadsheet.

  4. Are you going to send surveys to parents? How are you going to capture their data? You might want to go in to the settings and layout of your blog and adjust the width and then everything will fit in the white section. You may want to remove the code verification for comments also.

    1. Thanks Leigh Ann. I have adjusted my width. Yes, I plan on sending surveys to the parents to gain their perspectives.

  5. This looks like a good plan. You were smart and kept it all in one large category. I wish I had done that. I am sure you will be able to find some research on parental involvement related to academic performance. In what type of community do these kids live? I am sure that the parents will appreciate your efforts. Enjoy the last part of summer, and good luck with the action research!

    1. Thank Josh. We live in a rural community with a population around 6,500. I bet your plan is wonderful!!

    2. Interesting. I am in Dallas, so it is huge! How does a tight-knit environment impact the student climate?
